Please say hello to PamMorgan, very new to Squidoo but with a fast-growing lens list already. She’s a college student who . . well, I’ll let her tell you more about herself:
How did you find Squidoo? I was doing an online search for good writing websites and just sort of stumbled upon Squidoo. The name caught my attention so I decided to check it out. After looking around the site I knew it was the place for me! I’m studying Mass Communications in school right now so I wanted to find a place that would help me advance my writing skills and learn from others as well. Squidoo seems like a great place for both of those so far!
You’ve started out by writing lots of great reviews. Are there any other hot topics or lens ideas inside just waiting for you to let them out? I started with book reviews and small product reviews because they’re what I know best and I’m very passionate about the importance of reading and the role its played in my life thus far. I also want to do video game reviews as I progress. I’m also going to do some opinion lenses speaking on social and psychological findings because human nature is a fascinating subject that I enjoy studying and sharing my thoughts on. I might end up doing some coverage of my travels once I have the money to visit new places again, but that might be some time before that’s an option. I really want to use Squidoo to also open dialogue between me and others about any topic, serious or mundane.
What can Squidoo do for you? I think Squidoo can help me fine tune my writing style, grow my confidence in what I have to say, and possibly help me make some extra money that I can use to help with school costs. I just really enjoy having a place where I can easily express myself!
