Tell us a little bit about your niche topic.
Educational toys are the rock stars of the toy world. Excellent ones make learning incredibly fun, either by actively challenging kids’ minds, making learning so fun kids don’t realize they’re learning, or both. I want to explore the best of the best toys and how children learn through playing with them.
Tell us about the moment you fell in love with your topic. Was it an immediate thing or did it happen over time?
I loved to learn through playing as a kid, but I was completely sold on great educational toys when my infant daughter got a huge kick out of batting a toy on her baby gym around because she loved how it sounded. I wanted to help foster a love of learning and a joy IN learning in her for a lifetime.
Who had the most influence in your life?
My mom, who gave my siblings and I the run of the craft bin when we were kids. My husband, a lifelong learner himself who encourages me to keep playing and exploring. My daughter, the incredibly fun kid who loves being the guinea pig for learning toys.
Bunnyfabulous invites you to stop by and share a review at her Review Your Favorite Educational Toys and Games.

We’re pleased to introduce RocketSquid EmmaGraceEllis today. Here’s what she had to share in our recent interview:
How did you find Squidoo? I found Squidoo last year when I was searching around the internet for something to do in my spare time, this was about 3 months after my twins were born.
Of the lenses you’ve made so far, which is your favorite and why? Breast Cancer, my loss, my new direction! would have to be my favorite- the content is jam packed with meaning and a cure for cancer s a passionate dream of mine – add to that, I was honored with the lens receiving a Purple Star; a momentous occasion that I am still overwhelmed by.
What one tip would you give to a new lensmaster starting out? Best tip I can think of – remember the 3 U’s & read the learning lenses – so much advice, guidance and quality support.
I am really enjoying Squidoo lens’ and the interaction with other lensmasters. Squidoo is unlike anything I have seen before and I am so glad it crossed my path last year.
Thank you, Emma, and we’re glad you found us!
Don’t forget to visit Emma’s profile page and check out her lenses. Then, if you have fewer than 25 lenses and would like to join other movers and shakers on RocketSquids and perhaps land an interview spot here on SquidooHQ, simply fill out this form to apply.
